1. Get out for a short walk during peak day light hours! As daylight savings time ends, we lose more of our precious day light. Maintain your dosage of Vitamin D by exposing your skin to the sun during a lovely, brisk walk during the day
2. Include warming spices and foods into your baking and cooking. Spices such as cinnamon, clove, cardamom and roots such as ginger are invigorating and nourishing for your blood flow and digestion.
3. Using root vegetables such as carrots, sweet potatoes, beets and potatoes are rich and starchy and provide good insulating energy.
Consider herbal teas that boost immunity and support respiratory health.
